El Libertador II

Estas fotos completan  las entradas de la  película "El Libertador". En estas quiero mostrar la increíble transformación de la Plaza de  "San Mateo" y a demás  las fotos que hice en el momento mismo en que la filmación de la película.

Algunas  con Fujicrome Velvia 50 caducadas en 2009, que no he tenido más remedio que pasarlas a blanco y negro porque de los colores dejaban mucho que desear, aunque hay un par de ellas que están  más o menos bien . El cámara de la película  se sorprendió al verme haciendo fotos de película, y se acordó cuando  las películas de cine se hacían también con película ....... por supuesto que estaban trabajando en digital.

These pictures, complete  the movie  "El Libertador" serie. In this time I try to show you the amazing transformation of "San Mateo" Square and the  photos I took at the same time that they were  filming  the movie.

Some of them are made in Fujicrome Velvia 50  expired in 2009, and converted to blank and white because  the colours were not correct. Not all, there are two photos with the colours  more or less ok. The cameraman were  surprised to see me taking film photos, and he remembered  the film  movies....... ofcourse they were working in digital.

El Livertador

En los años 2011 y 2012 tuvimos la asombrosa coincidencia de la filmación de las escenas exteriores de dos producciones cinematográficas en la Plaza de San Mateo.

Recordareis, hace unos meses, unas entradas en el blog  con  fotos que tomé de "Miel de Naranjas" rodaje, de Imanol Uribe, y ahora publico las de la segunda:  "El Livertador".

No he visto la película todavía, no sé si el que se ha estrenado o no, pero estoy seguro de que no ha sido puesta en los Cines de Jerez.

Estos días tenemos muy presentes, con motivo de la muerte de Hugo Chávez, la situación social y política  en Venezuela,  la película trata de la vida privada y pública de Simón Bolívar y la lucha por la liberación y la creación en América Latina de las primeras repúblicas libres como la de Venezuela siendo este base de la revolución bolivariana del difunto Chávez .

Esta vez, la transformación de la plaza de San Mateo has sido mucho  más sorprendente, la muestran como un una Venezuela en la época de Bolívar. estuvieron más de dos semanas trabajando para lo que supone un minuto más o menos en la película.

Al igual que en Miel de Naranjas pedí autorización para hacer fotos, la única condición fue no molestar y no vender o comerciar con las fotos del rodaje.

Con la dirección de Alberto Arvelo Mendoza, Edgar Ramírez como Bolívar, Imanol Arias y María Valverde, iré a ver  la película en la primera oportunidad que tenga.

In the years 2011 and 2012 , we had  the amazing coincidence of the filmation of  external scenes  from two film productions in  San Mateo´s square.

A few months ago I show you in this blog some  fotos I took from "Miel de Naranjas" filming, by Imanol Uribe, and  now I want to show you the second one    "El Livertador".

I haven't seen the movie yet, I dont know if  it has been released or not but    

  I´m sure if it´s going to be passed in Jerez´s Cinemas by the moment. 

In these days as result  of Hugo Chavez death we are having a lot of news about the  politic and social situation in Venezuela. The film seems to be about the private and public life of Simón Bolivar and the fight for the liberation and the creation in Latin America of the first  free republics as Venezuela and the ideal base of the "Republic Bolivariana"  that  Hugo Chavez made  for his country.

This  time , the transformation of  San Mateo Square, to show it as a Venezuela´s one in the time of Bolibar, was  more amazing than in "Miel de Naranjas".  They were more than two weeks  working hard only for a minute in the film.

As in Miel de Naranjas,  I asked for  autoritation  to take pictures,  they were agree, but told me not bother and  not sell or trade with the filming photos.

With the direction of  Alberto Arvelo Mendoza, Edgar Ramirez as Bolibar,  Imanol Arias, and Maria Valverde, I´ll see the film in the first chance  I have.

GRAFITIS EN EL PUERTO

Esta semana  Luis Serrano  en su magnifico Blog  Óptica Fija 50 mm ha tocado un tema muy sensible en este mundo bloguero, como es el de los comentarios y las respuestas a estos en las fotos publicadas.

Básicamente estoy  de acuerdo con lo que dice y con algunos de los comentarios posteriores sobre el tema aunque creo que la cosa en un mundo tan variopinto como este  es complicada dada la amplia gama.  Encontramos desde los comentarios que solo buscan la reciprocidad  a los que dicen lo que piensan de verdad, los que siempre adulan y exageran la nota aunque no les guste nada lo que ven  a los que realmente  ves les trasmites algo con tus fotos.... Jamás he puesto algo que no pensara en ninguna foto, muchas veces he sentido cosas que no he sido capaz de expresarlas y otras   he callado cosas que no me gustan por respeto al autor  y lo seguiré haciendo.

Hablando por mi (y a duras penas)  lo que me encantaría conseguir es  que los temas técnicos pasen inadvertidos y  al ver una foto automáticamente surja alguna reacción,  toque alguna fibra,  llegue algún tipo de mensaje,  pique la curiosidad por saber del sitio, de las personas,  relaje,  enerve,  etc.... 

Por cierto me encantan y no sabéis como agradezco los comentarios que dejáis,  por ahora todos buenos (tengo que ser un Crack) y acepto todas las criticas constructivas, consejos, correcciones que me queráis hacer. Me considero un privilegiado solo con vuestras visitas.

Me he comprometido a responder a todos vuestros comentarios y  espero cumplirlo.

Estas fotos de grafitis están tomadas en el Puerto de Santa María. Las de los niños están en una caseta de la compañía de la luz o teléfono abandonada, las veo sobre todo en verano cuando volvemos de la playa  y al pasar siempre me  provocan una sonrisa. Las otras dos son en el recinto Ferial y de la Playa del Cangrejo Rojo también en El Puerto.

This week Luis Serrano in his blog Optica Fija 50 mm has touched a very sensitive issue in this   blogger world, the comments to the photos and answers to those.

I  agree with him and with some of the subsequent comments,  but I think that these is a complicated thing in a world as diverse as this one. In fact,  You can see that  there is  people that only look for reciprocity in their blog, people that always adulate you even if they don´t like what they see  and, of course, people that say what he realy think. All my comments  written was what I really  thought, if  I dont like what I was watching I didn´t say anything. I´ll do the same in the future.

Talking  about  myself . Your reaction  that I wish,  when You see my photos,  is  forget all about  the technical and  automatically get some feeling, some kind of message, You feel that You need to know more about place, about the people, about the stories, you relax, or enervates ....

I´m very pleased of your    comments in my blog, all of them Ok by the moment and of course  I accept all constructive criticism, tips, corrections that you please do me, I want to learn from all of you. I´m very pleased only with your visit

These photos of graffiti are taken in El Puerto de Santa Maria. The children are in a small house abandoned of the Light or Telephone Company, I see it  especially in the summer when we go to the beach and when I see it  I always  smile. The others are from the fairgrounds and  Cangrejo Rojo Beach in El Puerto de Santa Maria .
